The Tuscola County Road Commission Board

BOARD CHAIRMAN - Jack Laurie

     Jack was appointed to the Road Commission beginning January 1, 2003.  Born and raised in the Cass City area, Jack has farmed with his family all of his life.  He is a past Michigan Farm Bureau President and brings true leadership skills to our Board.

VICE-CHAIR - Julie Matuszak

     Julie has served the community with 25 years of law enforcement experience in the Michigan State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit.  That, combined with her 2o year agricultural background, leaves her with an excellent understanding of conditions that affect the roadway system.  She is a lifelone resident of Tuscola County.  July 1, 2011 she became one of our first elected members and the first woman to become a Road Commissioner.

MEMBER - David Kennard

       David was appointed to the Road Commission Board on September 27, 2018.  He is a lifelong resident of Tuscola County, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board after serving nearly 30 years as a Road Commission employee, including his last position as the Vassar Division Foreman.  David has other public service experience having served as a member of the Vassar Township Board and Chairman of the Vassar Planning Commission.

MEMBER - Brian Schriber

      

MEMBER - Duane Weber

     Duane was elected to the Road Commission Board and began his term on January 1, 2019.  He is a lifelong resident of Tuscola County in Arbela Township.  Duane has farmed with his family for his entire life.  He has also served on local boards such as the Fire Board and the Planning Commission of Arbela Township.
